Eating for the Planet - Sustainable Approaches to Healthy Eating

Eating for the Planet.png

It seems like a week can’t pass without a food or food group being vilified for its affect on the environment and/ or because it is seemingly now bad for us.
Can we still eat meat? Should we forego grains? Are fish really all toxic? Is plant-based the only way?
It’s all just a tad confusing.

Join this talk and let me bring clarity to eating well in a sustainable way.
(In case you are new here, hi, my name is Eva Humphries, a BANT registered nutritionist. You can read more about me here.)
Delivered via Zoom, this 60-minute session will outline the principles of healthy eating that are easy to achieve, are realistic to do so and have minimal impact on our environment.

The talk will cover:
- the nutrients and dietary components needed to fuel the human body for optimum wellbeing - aka a no nonsense but evidence-based look at what a healthy diet actually looks like
- debunking the myths of meat, let’s look at the current evidence
- an overview of sustainable protein sources
- the scoop on organic
- tips for choosing foods that have a lower impact on the environment
- tips & tricks to make sustainable healthy eating easy

Like all my talks, the focus is on achievable action points. Theory and evidence are great (these also feature), but I want you to leave the talk with concrete ideas on how you can change your eating patterns for the better and know how to achieve this with ease.
Join me on the 2
